Your account
An account exists for one reason: to hold your minutes. There is no profile to fill in, no team to manage and no plan to choose.
Signing in
An email address and a password. Create the account the first time, then sign in with it.
A new account has to confirm its address before it can be used. Obiklip sends a link when you create it; opening that link activates the account and releases the free minutes. The link works for 24 hours, and Resend confirmation email on the sign-in window sends another.
Forgotten password
Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in window and enter your address. The link that arrives works for one hour and can be used once. Setting a new password signs out every device, so sign in again afterwards - your minutes and your projects are untouched.
Your balance
My Account shows the minutes you have left. It is fetched from the server rather than remembered by the app, so it is right even after buying on another machine; Refresh balance asks again.
A balance that says it is unavailable usually means the app cannot reach the server - the number is not gone, it just could not be read. Analysing needs that number, so it waits until the connection is back.
More than one machine
Sign in anywhere and the same minutes are there; they belong to the account. What does not travel is your work: projects, transcripts and clips live on the machine that made them.
The free trial
30 minutes, once. It belongs to you rather than to a sign-up, so a second address does not bring a second trial. If My Account says there are no trial minutes on the account and you have never used Obiklip before, tell us - that is worth a look.
Signing out
Sign Out in My Account. Your projects stay on the machine and are there when you sign back in; only the balance and the ability to analyse go away while you are signed out.
Trouble getting in
If you cannot sign in - a password that is not accepted, an address you are no longer sure of - write to us from the address you signed up with and we will sort it out.
