Open Settings from the app header. Preferences are saved in this browser for the signed-in account.

Closed captions

Choose whether the main video stage shows captions, select their preview text size and reset their position to bottom centre. These controls affect the workspace preview, not the subtitle style saved on an individual exported clip.

Storage

Obiklip keeps two kinds of derived media in this browser. The audio it cuts to transcribe a video is kept so an interrupted run does not pay to cut it again, and so a transcript can be finished even after the video has moved. A finished export is kept so Download again still works after a reload, without the source video.

This section shows how much of each is kept and clears both. Clearing costs nothing but the time to make them again: your transcripts, clips, translations and the exports already in your downloads folder are not touched. Some browsers cannot keep derived media at all; there the section says so and everything still works, a little slower.

OpenAI

Add, test, replace or remove the OpenAI API key kept in this browser. A short fingerprint identifies the saved key without displaying it again. The section is here on every plan: a key is how Obiklip works.

The key is sent directly to OpenAI and never to Obiklip. Removing it here does not revoke it at OpenAI. See Your OpenAI API key.
